Duties & Responsibilities

App product manager duties and responsibilities are:
  • Lead the evolution of Happiest Baby’s consumer apps. Help us create the best user experience there is for new parents.
  • Own the user experience; Think like the User. Test the product. Figure out all possible and impossible scenarios for how the product can be used.
  • Go through user scenarios from beginning to end. Document them. Get input from the other teams. Get input from early users.
  • Review solutions and investigate the possibilities. Check out competitive products. Investigate solutions from other product spaces. What can we learn from them?
  • Drive the UI/UX team. Find solutions to complex interaction problems. Work across the organization to anchor your ideas.
  • Make sure the teams know what the product is supposed to do and why.
  • Help the world know what the product does and why that’s the best thing that’s ever happened.
  • Design and document product requirements, specifications, and testing requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA; Identify use cases, test and validate features in development and generate feedback loops to ensure continuous improvement of product features, usability and overall performance
  • Support marketing with communicating product value proposition, product marketing copy and other assets
  • Support operations for high quality customer support / success

Requirements

App product manager requirements are:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Engineering.
  • 2-4 years in Product Management or related experience with consumer technology products.
  • Experience with IoT products would be great.
  • Created requirement documents, trade-off analysis, prioritization, etc. for multiple (app) products.
  • App wizard that is curious and with a drive to make the best apps possible.
  • Know how to create prototypes and validate with stakeholders and users.
  • Experience with end-user testing and validation.
  • Creative in finding solutions for problems that haven’t been solved yet.
  • Pragmatic, practical and hands-on.
  • Unexplainable passion for Consumer Electronic Products.
  • Excellent judgment about customer expectations, product functionality and business impact.
  • Documentation whiz.
  • Genuine interest in working with parents and families.

iOS Team Lead

Overview

We are looking for an experienced iOS Team Lead to join our team! Happiest Baby is a company based in the States, with the main office being in Los Angeles, that has developed the most advanced smart bassinet in the world called SNOO. We are on the lookout for new talent to join our European regional center in Belgrade!

Duties & Responsibilities

You will love this job if you have outstanding programming skills and great passion for developing innovative applications. iOS Team Lead duties and responsibilities are:
  • Lead the development of our iOS app - from requirements to design, development and validation
  • Provide architectural design and technical leadership to the mobile development team
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform
  • Collaborate with other Engineering teams, management, QC, and other stakeholders to produce cutting-edge software solutions
  • Foster a culture of ownership and promote a highly collaborative environment
  • Troubleshoot code-level problems quickly and efficiently
  • Forecast and track team budgets
  • Ensure high system availability and scalability
  • Establish performance monitoring systems and protocols to ensure a high degree of availability, system readiness, and performance
  • Hire, supervise IOS developers, provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance as well as performance evaluation

Requirements

Please apply if you feel like you're missing something and you're eager to learn new things. We have a strong desire to share knowledge which is why we're opting for these requirements:
  • 7+ years of engineering experience out of which at least 2 in a team leadership role
  • Good understanding of reactive programming (RxSwift or Combine)
  • Has at least 3+ years of Swift experience
  • Has experience with Realm and CoreData
  • Has experience with RESTful API
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to create solutions to different problems. Desire to learn new skills and keep up to date with advances in development tools and frameworks
  • Advanced understanding of Git
  • CI/CD best practices and optimization of development flow
  • Experience with IoT - hardware-less development and test
  • Proponent of rapid prototyping and iterative design
  • The ability to rigorously test software to ensure it meets the expected requirements. This includes the ability to create automated test suites
  • Experience working in a CI/CD pipeline along with experience of a good working knowledge of build and configuration management: SVN, Git, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, or similar tools
  • The ability to work at all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Very good verbal and written English
